Learning goals: The learning objectives refer to the A1 level (beginner) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and to the contents of the coursebook used during the programme. By the end of this level, participants will be able to:
understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Introduce yourself and others, ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you, people you know and things you have.
Final test and certificate: A level certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the final test, assessed according to the criteria established for each language level. The final test may only be taken by participants who attend at least 80% of the course.

In case the minimum number of participants is not reached, the course will be switched to private or semi-private lessons, reducing the number of meetings accordingly.
The course will follow Ticino’s school calendar, stopping for national holidays and Christmas Break.
